For a budget hotel, this was surprisingly nice. Rooms were bright, clean and comfy, with a desk and stool. The shower was powerful and hot, and contained a shower gel / shampoo dispenser. Toilet was a little compact, but clean. TV had lots of channels, and lighting in the room was adjustable, with controls beside the beds for more ambienced lighting. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were prompt and efficient, checking each morning if we had enough clean towels and supplies. Free teas / coffees and filtered water near reception was a bonus. Pool table and cafe was also a plus. It was a perfect location for us with public transport right outside and across the road. Most of the attractions we visited were within walking distance anyway. There's a garage right next door serving 'Greggs' food and a McDonalds and pub directly across the road. The only negative I have about the hotel is that it advertises the availability of 24 hour pizza. Yet, when we got back really late after a long day standing at a concert, we were told no food was available in spite of their advertisement. We were too exhausted to go back out, so ordered food for delivery instead, which turned out disastrous, with several unsuccessful visits to and from reception while hangry, but that's another story... Overall, we were very pleased with the place and would stay there again.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good value, location is good. Tram stop behind pub. Very convenient. Lovely pub serving food across the road beside tram stop. Avoid the pizzeria next door to hotel. Good car park just seconds from reception. Shortage of power sockets in rooms, bring a power strip. Lovely staff. I will return.

The room was about what you would expect for the price. However, I noticed that the sheets on the upper bunk bed and the towel for drying feet had not been replaced, which was a little concerning. As others have mentioned, the smell in the hallway is quite distinctive, and people who are sensitive to smells might find it a bit unpleasant. The most satisfying part of this hotel was the wonderful staff. Everyone was very kind, and I almost felt sad to leave the hotel. One female staff member with a cool hairstyle and hair color helped us with the kettle. Even though we only understand a little English, she patiently explained everything to us. It may seem like a small thing, but I was really impressed by her kindness. Being cool and kind at the same time is honestly the best. I will never forget it. Thank you so so much.

I stayed at ibis budget Manchester Salford Quays and overall had a good experience. The location is very convenient, especially with the tram nearby for easy access to Manchester city centre. Rooms are small and simple but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth. It’s a great budget option if you just need a practical place to sleep without paying for extras. Would stay again for a quick trip.

Basic room but had all I needed. No hot drink facilities in room but you can get a free coffee on the ground floor. Parking was £14 extra, breakfast was good at £8.50, lots of continental style options. Location is great with their being a tram stop outside to whizz you into Manchester centre in a few minutes.

Had a really lovely time! The room was spotless & had everything we could ask for. My only complaint would be that the bed was quite hard & tough to lay on - but my partner didn't have any issues, she loved our stay!

This isn't a 4-star hotel, but for my needs and the price, it was absolutely perfect! Check-in was a breeze, and they happily gave me a top-floor room. The room was spotless, with a comfy double bed, clean towels, TV, toiletries, charging points, a place for clothes, AC/heating, and an amazing view of Salford Quays and Media City. My only wish was a kettle, but I used the lobby's complimentary tea and coffee. I paid £44.50 for one night through Booking.com. #Hotel #Staycation #Travel #Review #Bargain #Accommodation #View #Comfort #Experience #Booking
